Elbit to sell Six Towed Howitzers to the Philippines

According to a report by MaxDefense, the Philippine Army is expecting the delivery of six Soltam M-71 155mm towed howitzers plus ammunition by March 2017.

This is part of a larger deal with Elbit Systems to supply both the Philippine Army and Philippine Marine Corps with the howitzers and ammunition, which was awarded to the Israeli company in June 2015.
