Israel, Sweden Compete to Replace Croatia's Outdated MiG-21s

Croatia's Defense Ministry will choose between Israeli and Swedish fighter jets to replace its fleet of MiG-21s, Croatian daily newspaper Jutarnji List reported on Monday. Croatia plans to purchase 12 aircraft in total.

Ukraine, UAE Partner on Transport Aircraft Production

According to the Ukroboronprom State Concern, Antonov State Enterprise has agreed to cooperate with the United Arab Emirates in the production of An-132 and An-70 aircraft.

Ukrinform is reporting that Antonov entered into agreements with partners from UAE to supply components, organize cooperative production and train technical staff for the implementation of the final part of the An-132 program.

Boeing to Convert Batch of F-16s to Unmanned Target Drones for USAF

Military avionics experts at Boeing will convert several retired US Air Force Lockheed Martin F-16 jet fighters into manned and unmanned target drones under terms of an $11.2 million order announced last week.

Under the agreement, the Boeing Defense, Space & Security segment will convert about 15 F-16 fighters into unmanned QF-16 full-scale aerial targets (FSATs). This order involves QF-16 full-scale aerial target lot 5B.
