Elbit to Demonstrate Upgraded Counter-DVE Solution for CV-22 Osprey

Elbit Systems of America is to demonstrate its upgraded Degraded Visual Environment (DVE) technology aboard a Bell-Boeing V-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft, the US military has disclosed.

A USD748,609 contract for a real-world evaluation of the company’s DVE equipment aboard a V-22 was announced by the US Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) in late January.

TSG Inaugurates Smart City Project in India

Israeli company TSG announced today the launch of a digital smart city program in the city of Thane, located not far from Mumbai in the State of Maharashtra in India. The program, called Digi Thane, is based on the smart city model of the Tel Aviv municipality. This is the first city in India to implement this model.

Elbit to Supply TLS Services to Australia's BMS C2 System

Elbit Systems' subsidiary, Elbit Systems of Australia, was awarded a $150 million contract by the Australian Department of Defence’s Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group to provide Through Life Support (TLS) services to the Australian Defence Force (ADF) for the Battle Management System Command and Control (BMS C2).

The contract is for a five-year base period. Optional extensions of up to seven years may be exercised in the future.  

Elbit Systems to Sell Weapons Stations to Austria

Elbit Systems will supply the Austrian Army with new WS4 Panther remotely operated weapon system (ROWS) through its wholly-owned subsidiary in Austria, ESL Advanced Information Technology (ESLAIT) GmbH.

According to a report by IHS Jane's, the WS4 system is intended to be the Austrian Army’s common ROWS.
