The IDF Ground Arm has selected American-made Leupold telescopes (manufactured by the Leupold & Stevens Corporation) as their telescopic sight of choice for ground forces snipers.

Three Indian Warships Visit Israel Ahead of PM Modi’s Visit

Three Indian Navy warships arrived at Haifa Port on Monday for a three-day visit as part of that nation’s overseas deployment to the Mediterranean Sea and West Coast of Africa.

The ships, from the Mumbai-based Indian Navy Western Naval Command, are the INS Mumbai, a guided-missile destroyer; INS Trishul, a stealth-missile frigate; and INS Aditya, a tanker.

The ships arrived on Tuesday and during their stay will engage extensively with the Israel Navy, including both professional and social engagements.

Report: Turkey to Sell Naval Vessels to Saudi Arabia, Pakistan

The Turkish government is about to finalize its efforts to ink two major naval export deals totaling between $1.5 billion and $2 billion, according to official sources. "This will be the largest ever export deal for Turkey’s local industry," one source said. 

A senior shipyard executive confirmed "matured" talks with both countries. "The government will announce it when it thinks is the good time to announce." 

Units from 24 Countries Take Part in Largest Annual Exercise in the Mideast

More than 7,000 troops from 24 nations are participating in a massive exercise in Jordan, training to combat improvised explosive devices, cyberattacks and other threats.

Exercise Eager Lion, which runs from May 7 to 18, is hosted by the Jordanian armed forces in partnership with the US military. It is the largest annual exercise in the Middle East in which the United States participates.
