New Saudi Arabian Howitzer unveiled. The Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) presented an 8x8 155mm self-propelled howitzer at the World Defense Show 2024 that took place at Riad last week.

The Estonian Ministry of Defense has approved the adoption of the BLUE SPEAR anti-ship missile system. Blue Spear missiles are a fifth-generation version of the "Gabriel" missile, known to have been developed and manufactured in cooperation between Israel Aviation Industry (IAI), Proteus, and ST Engineering.

Lockheed Martin has signed an agreement with Saudi companies to manufacture components of the advanced THAAD missile defense system in Saudi Arabia. The corporation announced that contracts for manufacturing components of the system in Saudi Arabia will help improve manufacturing capabilities in the kingdom and transfer knowledge and expertise to strengthen the security industries in Saudi Arabia.

After numerous attacks on merchant and warships in the Red Sea and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, and following American and British strikes on their bases in Yemen, along with a significant military presence in the region, the Houthi rebels are not giving up and once again are raising the tension bar. This time, the target of the terrorist organization’s naval arm is the submarine communication cables, which pass through the Strait.
