Lockheed Martin to Utilize Guardtime Federal’s Blockchain Tech

Elbit Systems Launches Hermes 900 StarLiner UAS

Elbit Systems has rolled out the Hermes 900 StarLiner, a Medium-Altitude Long-Endurance (MALE) Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) that features adverse weather capabilities and is fully compliant with NATO’s Standardization Agreement (STANAG) 4671, qualifying it to be safely integrated into civilian airspace and fly in the same environment with manned aircraft. Following a year-long flying schedule, the Hermes 900 StarLiner has been performing Civil Aviation Authority certified flights in Masada National Park, Israel.

Syrian UAV Intercepted in Northern Israel

An unmanned aerial vehicle entered Israeli territory on Wednesday and was intercepted by a Patriot missile over the Sea of Galilee.

According to an IDF release, the Patriot missile defense system identified the threat and tracked it until its interception.

During the incident, alarms sounded in the Golan and the Jordan Valley regional councils.

Report: Reaper Drone Documents Leaked on Dark Web

New research claims that a hacker tried to sell files on the MQ-9 Reaper drone on the dark web. According to research by threat intelligence company Recorded Future, the hacker harvested the documents from a US Air Force captain’s computer by exploiting a widely known security vulnerability in Netgear routers.
