Elbit Systems’ solution for Artillery Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) has been selected by a European country. Under the agreement, Elbit Systems will enhance 155mm howitzer battalions with advanced Digital Fires capabilities, by seamlessly integrating its C4ISR Artillery Suite including the Torch-X Fires application and E-LynX Software Defined Radio (SDR) radios.

Israeli company UVision will manufacture its Hero 120 Loitering Munition system in Charleston, South Carolina, USA. This manufacturing facility is set to commence operations in March 2024.

Bird AeroSystems, an Israeli provider of innovative defense technology, has installed its advanced SPREOS DIRCM and Aeroshield missile protection systems on multiple Airbus A319 aircraft for an undisclosed European customer.

At the core of this project is the SPREOS (Self Protection Radar Electro-Optic System), a DIRCM system for missile approach verification, tracking, and laser jamming. SPREOS features semi-active dual-band radar fused with IR tracker and IR countermeasure capabilities.

Sweden’s Saab has announced receiving an order for the man-portable, multi-role weapon system Carl Gustaf from the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) for four NATO member nations. The order's value is approximately €60 million, and the contract period spans from 2024 to 2027.

Leading German defense firm, Rheinmetall, announced over the weekend that it had secured a significant contract from the German Army. The contract entails the production and supply of 123 Boxer Armored Personnel Carriers (APCs), valued at approximately €2.7 billion. Notably, these vehicles are slated for manufacturing at Rheinmetall's facility in Australia, with deliveries set to commence in 2025.

After significant progress in more than months of fighting the Swords of Iron War, during which the IDF eliminated a large portion of the military strength of Hamas and Islamic Jihad, the IDF has still not taken over the entire Gaza Strip. The IDF has yet to dismantle the entire military apparatus of Hamas. The Swedish Defense Procurement Agency (FMV) has signed a contract to purchase 321 6x6 armored vehicles from the Finnish-Norwegian company Patria, valued at around €470 million.

These 321 vehicles, known as Pansarterrängbil 300 in Sweden, will be stationed at the Livgardet regiment in Kungsängen and several other units nationwide. Patria had previously delivered 20 6x6 vehicles under a separate contract signed in April 2023.

The U.S. State Department has approved the sale of Javelin anti-tank missile systems to Morocco at an estimated total cost of $260 million. As part of this sale, Morocco will be supplied with 612 Javelin FGM-148F missiles, which include 12 fly-to-buy missiles, along with 200 Javelin lightweight command launch units (LWCLUs).
