Israeli Chief of Staff: Hezbollah is Paying a Price for Joining October 7th

In addition, a surface-to-surface missile was identified crossing from Lebanese territory towards the vicinity of Meron. Damage was identified in the area of the Air Force's air control unit. There is no impairment to the facility's operational capability, according to the IDF.

Hezbollah’s fire resumed this morning (Wednesday(. Following the alerts activated in the Kiryat Shmona area, approximately ten launches from Lebanese territory into Israeli territory were identified. Air defense fighters intercepted several launches successfully. The IDF targeted the sources of fire in Lebanese territory. Fighter jets attacked a Hezbollah terrorist organization's ammunition depot and military structures in the Ramyah area in southern Lebanon.

On the Gaza front, The Paratroopers Brigade is fighting in the western Khan Yunis area this morning, engaging terrorist targets and eliminating many terrorists at close range through shooting and targeted fire from both the air and the ground.

The Southern Command's Fire Center and the Air Force targeted eight significant targets in the area from which the SAM missile was launched towards Ashkelon last night. Subsequently, they hit terror cells and infrastructure from which terrorists exited to carry out terror operations in the area.
