Israeli company MCTECH RF Technologies recently supplied dozens of MC-2000 VRF-5G jamming systems to the military in a Southeast Asian country. These systems are designed to protect convoys from various RF threats, including remotely operated explosive devices (RCIED), drones, and more.

The significant feature of these systems is their ability to disrupt numerous communication channels simultaneously while opening discreet communication windows for maneuvering forces, enabling coordination on the move.

The systems cover a wide range of frequencies such as VHF/UHF, cellular networks including 5G, Wi-Fi signals, GNSS, and satellite and drone communication, providing comprehensive protection against all RF threats in the area.

The installed configuration of the MC-2000 VRF in vehicles allows for rapid deployment and mobility, making it a valuable asset for military operations in dynamic and complex environments.

According to Ido Bar-Oz, CMO at MCTECH, "The contemporary and future battlefield necessitates a shift in thinking, with new and robust threats such as smart munitions, drones, UAVs, and RF-guided missiles dominating the landscape. The MC-2000 VRF-5G represents a paradigm shift in electronic warfare, offering more efficient blocking against a wide range of threats while maintaining operational communication superiority on the battlefield."
