Report: Romania Purchased Spike LR2 Anti-Tank Missiles for $92 Million

The Romanian media reports that the Romanian Ministry of Defense recently purchased Spike LR2 anti-tank missiles with a total value of approximately $92 million.

The Romanian website Profit.ro reports that the framework agreement for the supply of the anti-tank missiles was signed between the joint venture company Eurospike as the sole supplier and the Romanian national company Romtehnica, which deals in international defense trade.

The Romanian website says that in 2018, Romtehnica purchased Spike ER anti-tank missiles from Rafael Systems with a total value of approximately $65 million, intended for installation on IAR-30 SOCAT helicopters.
