The Estonian media reports that the Baltic country’s army has begun receiving Spike SR anti-tank missile systems. At this stage, the process of training the Army's system instructors by instructors from the Eurospike Company began. In the spring of this year, they will begin training and instructing end-user units in the army.

The Spike SR is a lightweight, shoulder-launched, fully operational Fire and Forget (F&F) anti-tank missile with an effective range of up to 2000 meters. The Spike SR replaces the Estonian Defense League's 90mm towed anti-tank systems.

In January 2022, EuroSpike announced that it had received an order for more than 500 Spike SR missiles plus associated equipment such as training missiles, backpacks, etc. from the Estonian Centre for Defense Investment (ECDI). This order is part of a €40 million deal signed in 2019 to supply 18 spike launcher systems to the Estonian army over seven years, with the launchers already delivered in 2020. The agreement includes an option to purchase additional launcher systems.
