IDF combatants have been operating in recent weeks in the Al-Bureij camp in the Gaza Strip, a densely populated area consisting of civilian structures. In this camp, Hamas terrorists manufactured numerous combat tools and weapons that they used on the October 7th attack.

The combat teams uncovered several tunnels reaching a depth of about 30 meters. Through precise intelligence guidance, a terrorist stronghold engaged in the production of weaponry in the Gaza Strip was exposed.

Many other facilities for manufacturing long-range rockets, explosive materials, precision guidance for mortar shells, charges, light weapons, and unmanned aerial vehicles were identified underground. Additionally, the forces neutralized dozens of terrorists in the area.

Golani combatants uncovered the largest weapon manufacturing facility exposed since the beginning of the war. There, they found components for long-range rockets capable of reaching northern Israel, mortar shells, charges, and ammunition. The facility is connected through underground passages to a complex network of tunnels that serve as a means of transportation for weaponry throughout the Gaza Strip.
