A meeting between representatives of Uzbekcosmos Agency and officials from the Israel Aerospace Industry (IAI) took place last week, as reported by the UZ Daily website.

“During the meeting, representatives of the Israeli company made presentations on satellites for remote sensing of the earth, telecommunications satellites, as well as a constellation of small satellites,” said the article.

Special attention was given to products such as the small communication satellite MCS, remote sensing drones for Earth observation OptSat3000 and OptSat500. Discussions were also held on personnel training, technology transfer, and cooperation in formulating proposals for the continued development of Uzbekistan's space and ground infrastructure.

Both parties reportedly agreed to make joint efforts in formulating proposals for the continued development of space and ground infrastructure in Uzbekistan, as well as to hold seminars and roundtable discussions on drone technologies.
