The national cyber arrays of Israel (Israel National Cyber Directorate) and the United Arab Emirates, along with dozens of other countries' cyber systems, are spearheading the establishment of a global platform for information sharing in the fight against hackers and ransomware wars.

The system is currently being established through Microsoft Israel as part of the International Counter Ransomware Initiative, a global initiative led by the White House aimed at addressing ransomware attacks worldwide.

The advanced system was presented during the Global Cyber Cabinet led by Microsoft Israel and the national cyber system. Approximately 15 countries participated in the Cyber Cabinet, including the United Arab Emirates, the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Singapore, INTERPOL, and others.

The Cyber Cabinet was inaugurated by the head of the Israel National Cyber Directorate, Gabi Portnoy, and the CEO of Microsoft Israel, Alon Haimovich, who expanded on the capabilities of artificial intelligence in the cyber field.

The Israeli cyber system presented Israel's cyber perspective, and a global cyber review was conducted by the manager of Microsoft's Cyber Threat Analysis Group. The event showcased the Crystal Ball system.

The Counter Ransomware Initiative (CRI) is an international initiative led by the White House aimed at addressing ransomware attacks. The initiative began its operations in late 2022 and includes around 40 countries and organizations, including Israel.

The participating countries in the initiative have declared a shared commitment to enhancing international resilience against ransomware attacks and strengthening international cooperation in combating cybercrime. Specialized teams have been formed on various topics, and Israel, together with the United Arab Emirates, leads a team aimed at developing and deploying technology for information sharing and joint operations between countries, with the involvement of the private sector.

The Crystal Ball system is an advanced cloud-based platform encompassing countries and partnerships, resulting from the collaboration between Microsoft Israel, the Israeli national cyber system, and the cyber system of the United Arab Emirates.

Its goal is to enable interactive, fast, secure, and easy analysis and information sharing between countries in the field of cyber defense, ranging from cyber attack analysis to the development and formulation of national cyber policies. The system was established under the leadership of Israel and the United Arab Emirates and, due to its role and significance, is at the core of the White House's international cyber initiative.

According to Gabi Portnoy, the head of the national cyber system: "We are dealing with shared challenges in cyberspace. The attack surface is expanding along with new technologies and increased motivation of attackers. We need to tackle these challenges in partnership and utilize the accumulated knowledge and new technologies for better and faster defense."

Haimovich, CEO of Microsoft Israel, stated: "In an era of sophisticated attacks, an integrated and sophisticated response is required. We need to respond to the challenges together and utilize the knowledge and new technologies we have accumulated for better and faster defense."
