US to sell Javelin missile weapon systems to Brazil

The Brazilian Army will receive 33 Javelin FGM-148 anti-tank missiles and 222 Javelin command launch units for an estimated cost of $74 million

The US State Department approved the sale of 33 Javelin FGM-148 anti-tank Missiles and 222 Javelin Command Launch Units to the Brazilian Army for an estimated cost of
$74 million.

Earlier this month the US State Department approved the sale of Javelin anti-tank missile launchers for a total amount of $300 million to Great Britain.
