Oshkosh Defense to supply military trucks to Iraq, Malaysia and Lebanon

The company will provide heavy tactical trucks and heavy equipment transporters under the contract worth close to $17 million

The U.S. Department of Defense announced last week that the U.S. Army Contracting Command has awarded American company Oshkosh Defense a new order, worth more than $16.7 million, to produce and supply heavy tactical vehicles to Iraq, Malaysia and Lebanon.

Under the contract, Oshkosh Defense will manufacture M1120A4 Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Trucks (HEMTTs), M977A4 HEMTTs, M978A4 HEMTTs, and M1070A1 Heavy Equipment transporters.
