Security inspectors from Israel's Crossing Points Authority, operating at the Tarkumia crossing, thwarted on Wednesday an unusual attempt to smuggle nuclear, biological and chemical (NBC) equipment that is suspected of being intended for the tunnel project of Hamas in Gaza.
NBC equipment is not allowed to be brought into Gaza. The large amount of equipment included filters, valves, and even instructions in Hebrew.
The equipment was captured and handed over to security authorities.
