The Nigerian Navy is using Tavor assault rifles made by Israel's IWI. The Firearm Blog website published pictures of Nigerian Navy sailors, armed with Tavor rifles with Mepro 21 day-night self-illuminated reflex sights, as they participated in a visit, board, search, and seizure (VBSS) exercise aboard the Expeditionary Sea Base USS Hershel "Woody" Williams earlier this month. According to the report, the weapon appears to be the 5.56x45mm caliber Tavor CTAR Integral with a 380mm-long barrel.
