ClearSky: Digital currency exchanges in Israel have been under cyberattack for years

According to a report by Israeli cyber intelligence company ClearSky, hackers attributed to the North Korean government have stolen funds from cryptocurrency exchanges in Israel. The group known as Hidden Cobra attacks cryptocurrency exchanges around the world. Its goal is to obtain funds for the regime in Pyongyang. 

According to ClearSky, the campaign that has continued for at least five years has obtained tens of millions of dollars for the attackers. The campaign is targeting Israel, the U.S., Europe and Japan. According to ClearSky, the victims are attacked using phishing or passwords stolen in previous attacks against them.
