Indian defense company Bharat Electronics Limited announced earlier this month that it signed a memorandum of understanding with Italian firearms manufacturer Beretta for the indigenous manufacturing of Beretta’s Close Quarter Battle Carbine and other small arms required by defence and non-defence customers. The MoU was signed at the Aero India 2021 exhibition.
