Oshkosh receives over $900 million worth of tactical vehicle contract modifications 

The contracts are for the US military and three foreign armies

The U.S. Defense Department announced this week that the Oshkosh Defense company was awarded a contract worth over $888 million to exercise options to supply the Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force with trailers, vehicles, and kits for the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) family of vehicles. Under the contract, Oshkosh is to provide 1,001 trailers, 2,679 vehicles, and 6,725 kits.

Oshkosh has also been awarded a contract of over $23 million to exercise options to supply JLTVs and kits to Brazil, Lithuania and Macedonia. 

For both contracts, work will be performed in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, with an estimated completion date of Oct. 31, 2022.
