Weaponry of 'Shayetet 13' special forces unit revealed

A report on the hisutton website reveals a classified vessel of the Israeli Navy's "Shayetet 13" special forces unit being carried by a Dolphin submarine. It is apparently an underwater propulsion device or diver-carrying vehicle. These types of vessels of other navies, including the US Navy, have been revealed in the past and are not secret by nature. However, almost all the weaponry of Shayetet 13 is considered classified in Israel.
The report said that the vessel might have been built by Italian company CABI Cattaneo. "The hangar is approximately 1.5 meters (5 ft) in diameter. This is generally typical of containers for special forces equipment. Payloads might include inflatable boats (with outboard engines) and diver propulsion vehicles (DPVs). It is likely too small for a full-sized Swimmer Delivery Vehicle (SDV)," the report said.
