Comtel Israel has announced that it has begun to exclusively represent in Israel the Swedish company Micropol Fibrotic, which manufactures passive fiber optic solutions. The company was founded in 1988 and operates in the fields of security and safety, industry, telecom and medical technologies.

The company's flagship product is the Falcon connector, which is used by the Swedish army wherever hard and durable components are required. The Falcon is the smallest 12-channel expanded beam connector on the market that meets the beam diameter requirements specified in MIL-DTL-83526. It has been tried and tested according to the strictest specifications in the world. In 2018, the Swedish Defense Industry Supply Authority (FMV) issued a certificate of conformity, confirming that the connectors meet the requirements for tactical communications systems in the field. It was further determined that the connectors are compatible with all other brands in the market, and therefore can be used in combination with other systems that operate according to NATO standards.

Comtel Israel's CEO, Mr. Natan Saranga, stated that: “Micropol's entry into the Israeli market has received a positive media response. We receive many inquiries, mainly from the military, security and medical markets that are looking for a precise answer to the challenging needs in our market. Our new representation and cooperation with Micropol reflect our vision at Comtel Israel - to support all stages of development and production in high-tech and Israeli industry, to provide a flexible, fast and high-quality response to changing market needs, to produce real solutions at the technology end in response to the customer's immediate and future needs with professionalism, service and customer support at the highest level."
