A report by El Diario De La Republica reveals that the Argentine government has awarded a $5.2 million cybersecurity contract to Rafael Advanced Defense Systems. Rafael competed against IAI for this project.

The Defense Ministry of Argentina signed a contract worth more than $5 million with its Israeli counterpart last year to provide cyber defense and cybersecurity services, specifically Cyber Emergency Response Team (CERT) and a Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT). Rafael was the leader of the Israeli CERT project.

However, recent reports say that the system acquired by Argentina is a software package that uses AI and machine learning applications to monitor Internet activity, including Darknet, social media, and other open source information.

It is possible that the system in question is Rafael’s Philosopher's Stone, but this was not officially confirmed.
