US to Upgrade Saudi Arabia’s King Air Aircraft

Sierra Nevada Corp. won a $23 million modification contract to upgrade two Saudi Arabian King Air 350 extended range aircraft.
The upgrade includes equipping the aircraft with intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance/synthetic aperture radar capability; one transportable ground station; one fixed ground station; and one mission system trainer, the US DoD announced in a statement.
Work is expected to be completed by May 2020.
