Iranian Foreign Ministry said that the Islamic republic might have entered discussions with the European Union over its missile program, Xinhuanet reported on Monday.

At a press conference, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Baharam Qasemi said that the issue of the Iranian missiles has likely been raised during the recent talks between Iran and the EU over the 2015 nuclear deal.

Iran is currently in talks with France, Britain, and Germany to revive the "blocking statute," a 1996 regulation that prohibits EU companies and courts from complying with foreign sanctions laws.
