CONTROP Appoints Hagay Azani as CEO

CONTROP Precision Technologies, an Israeli company specializing in the field of electro-optics and IR defense and homeland security solutions, announces the appointment of Hagay Azani, as its new CEO. Azani will replace Dror Sharon, who led the company since 2012.
For the past 18 months, Azani served as the company's VP Marketing & Sales. Prior to that, he served as CONTROP’s Chief Operations Officer (COO) for 4 years. Prior to joining CONTROP, Azani held his last position at Elbit C4I and Land Systems as Business Unit Manager of Land & Unmanned Ground Systems. Azani, Lt. Col. (Reserves), served in the Israel Defense Forces in a wide variety of roles, including in the Rocket Division of the Artillery Corps. Prior to that, he was a Battalion Commander and Deputy Regiment Commander. He is an Industrial Engineer with an Executive MBA from Bar Ilan University.
