Israel has passed the gloomy milestone of 120 days since the heinous Hamas attack of October 7th, and today (Sunday) is entering the 19th week of war. While the ground maneuver in Gaza has entered a more pin-pointed phase, the situation in northern Israel remains quite unclear and confusing.

Yesterday, Fighter jets attacked a military structure of Hezbollah in the Al-Taybeh area. In addition, the IDF attacked with tank and artillery fire from other areas in southern Lebanon during the day.

Several launches were identified originating from Lebanese territory towards the areas of Mount Dov, Avivim, and Yiron; no injuries were reported. IDF forces targeted the sources of the gunfire.

"Since the beginning of the war, Hezbollah has aligned itself closely with Hamas. Hezbollah operates in the service and support of Iran and carries out terrorist activities against Israel. The IDF is imposing a cost on Hezbollah, which is growing and reducing its capabilities in southern Lebanon," said IDF Spokesperson, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, during a press briefing last night.

״We are in a new defensive effort on the Lebanon border. We have deployed three brigades along the border,” Hagari added. So far, we have targeted over 150 Hezbollah cells and eliminated more than 200 commanders and terrorists.

“Since the beginning of the war, we have targeted over 3,400 Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon. Hezbollah, like Hamas, places its terrorist infrastructure in the heart of the civilian population."
