The U.S. Department of Defense awarded General Dynamics Land System a $280,112,700 firm-fixed-price contract to procure Rafael's Trophy kits for the M1A2 SEPv2 and M1A2 SEPv3 Abrams Family of Vehicles.

The website ArmyRecognition.com notes that published that General Dynamics was presenting for the first time to the public the system fitted with a Trophy APS (Active Protection System) designed and manufactured by Rafael in September 2021.

In October 2017, it was reported that the US Army had ordered a "Tropy" Active Protection System from General Dynamics to be installed on the Abraham M1A2 SEPv2 tank. It seems that this is now the realization of this plan to equip two U.S. Army tank brigades in these systems
