Prime Minister to establish a new government company in charge of the move of IDF to the Negev

The company will deal with all steps of the process, in the context of which the intelligence and C4I units will move south

Members of the government approved at their weekly meeting  the establishment of a new government company that will be in charge of the move of the IDF to the Negev. During the transition, the intelligence and C4I units will move south. The establishment of the new government company is an initiative of the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Finance Minister, according to a report by the newspaper "The Marker".

According to the report, the company, which will be under the responsibility of the Minister of Defense, will be provided a budget of 13.85 billion NIS, most of which will come from the sale of the land of evacuated military bases. Manning positions within the Company will be made by the next government, after it receives approval of the new Knesset, under the guidelines of the Government Companies Authority (GCA) and the Attorney General.
