A report by TankerTrackers reveals that a shipment of 850,000 barrels of crude oil arrived in Ashkelon, Israel on Tuesday from Djeno, Congo.

The tanker reportedly turned off its AIS (automatic identification system) upon arrival at the request of the port authorities.

According to the report, Congo was never seen as a source of oil for Israel before, though the latter did receive a couple of shipments from West Africa during the summer.
