The Hellenic Army will buy 70 OH-58D Kiowa Warrior armed reconnaissance helicopters from the US Army for a cost of 46 million Euros.
According to Thema News, Greece will receive a total of 36 helicopters. Ten will be used for training purposes, and the rest will be used for spare parts. e_amyna adds that this purchase will give "a big boost to Hellenic Army's capability to conduct intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) missions."
