Elbit System's subsidiary Sigmabit developed a real-time active cellular intelligence system named SigmaCell.
According to the company, the system is "compatible with all mobile devices, network providers, and radio frequencies, and supports 2G, 3G, and 4G. It rapidly detects, identifies and exposes target device details (e.g. IMSI, IMEI, MSISDN, GPS, device type) and precisely locates its position."
The invisible and undetectable system "captures and manipulates target phone calls, messages, and data."
Sigmabit's tactical off-air system can be installed on a variety of platforms, including quadcopters.
