According to a report on taringa.net, the two finalists in Denmark's tender for a new artillery system are the French company Nexter and the Israeli Elbit Systems.

The organization responsible for the management of arms programs of the Ministry of Defense in Denmark, the IMF, received the final proposals from Nexter Systems and Elbit Systems for the acquisition of a self-propelled artillery system. Both companies offer 155 mm caliber artillery guns: Nexter with the CAESAR system and Elbit with the ATMOS (Autonomous Truck Mounted howitzer System).

The contract with the winning company must be signed by mid-2017 and deliveries must be completed by 2020. This is Denmark's second attempt to acquire an artillery system after local authorities canceled a first attempt in April last year.
