Sentrycs Unveils Portable Counter-Drone System for Tactical Forces at SOF Week
New "Scout" platform brings man-carried cyber-over-RF drone mitigation capabilities to frontline and mobile operations
Ondas Holdings subsidiary Sentrycs will debut a new portable counter-UAS solution, Sentrycs Scout, at SOF Week in Florida, expanding its portfolio of cyber-based drone defense systems for tactical and mobile operations.
Sentrycs will showcase Scout alongside its broader counter-drone solutions portfolio during SOF Week, including demonstrations at both the convention center and the event’s outdoor operational display area near Peter O. Knight Airport.
Designed for special operations units and frontline security teams, Scout is a compact, battery-powered, man-carried system that enables passive drone detection, tracking, identification, and mitigation without relying on fixed infrastructure. The platform is ruggedized for deployment in harsh operational environments and is intended to support missions ranging from convoy protection and border security to VIP protection and critical infrastructure patrols.
The system is built on Sentrycs’ field-proven Cyber over RF (CoRF) technology, which uses protocol manipulation rather than jamming or kinetic interception to counter unauthorized drones. The approach allows operators to safely assume control of hostile or unauthorized drones and direct them to designated landing zones while maintaining communications continuity and minimizing interference with authorized systems.
According to the company, the technology also provides actionable intelligence such as drone serial numbers, operator locations, and flight behavior data, enabling security forces to respond rapidly to aerial threats in both urban and combat environments.
“As drone threats continue to grow in scale and sophistication, posing an increasing challenge to defense and security forces worldwide, there is a rising need for agile, highly effective counter-UAS capabilities that can be deployed wherever missions demand them,” said Tal Cohen, CEO and founder of Sentrycs.
“Building on the proven core technology behind our fixed-site deployments, Sentrycs Scout delivers tactical teams a ruggedized, portable counter-UAS capability—enabling operational flexibility and effective drone mitigation in the most challenging environments,” he added.
Founded in 2017 and acquired by Ondas Holdings in 2025, Sentrycs develops passive counter-drone systems for military, homeland security, and critical infrastructure applications, including airports, borders, prisons, and large-scale public events. The company operates from offices in Israel and the United States and serves customers globally.
