Akamai Partners with Cloudinary to Integrate AI-Powered Video Capabilities
Cloudinary joins Akamai’s Qualified Compute Partner Program, bringing scalable video management and delivery tools to Akamai Video Manager users

Akamai Technologies announced a new strategic partnership with Cloudinary that will integrate Cloudinary’s AI-powered video capabilities into Akamai’s next-generation Video Manager solution. The collaboration is aimed at simplifying video management and delivery for businesses, addressing challenges such as performance optimization and post-production workflows.
As part of the agreement, Cloudinary has joined the Akamai Qualified Compute Partner Program as an Independent Software Vendor (ISV). This program is designed to provide Akamai customers with access to interoperable, solution-based services that can be deployed at scale across the Akamai Cloud.
The integration will enable Akamai Video Manager customers to use Cloudinary’s tools to manage a wide range of video applications — from micro-videos and promotional clips to live streaming and long-form content. These use cases span industries and platforms, serving enterprise and consumer audiences across devices and channels.

The Akamai Qualified Compute Partner Program includes a variety of third-party services that are verified to operate seamlessly within the Akamai Cloud ecosystem. These services can be deployed individually or combined to build larger, integrated solutions, with potential performance and cost efficiencies by operating on a unified global platform.
