ESC BAZ Wins Major IMoD Contract for Curveillance and C-UAS Systems
The contract includes dozens of medium- and long-range surveillance systems, integrated radar solutions and advanced analytics capabilities
Israeli company ESC BAZ, which specializes in developing advanced optical systems for border protection and strategic facilities, has won a tender worth tens of millions of shekels from the Israeli Ministry of Defense to develop and supply a wide range of advanced operational solutions for dedicated platforms. These include specialized peripheral systems with advanced analytics capabilities, dozens of medium- and long-range surveillance systems, integrated radar solutions based on technologies from two leading manufacturers, and advanced C-UAS systems.
In its announcement, the company said that as part of the contract, it will deploy and implement a new-generation command-and-control system (C2) developed by ESC BAZ in accordance with the customer's requirements. The system enables full integration between observation and radar systems, providing a unified operational picture in real time. In later stages, it is expected to support the integration of additional platforms and capabilities as part of an expanded operational response to customers' evolving requirements.
As part of the project, ESC BAZ will also provide ongoing installation, implementation and maintenance services. The project is part of a national strategic initiative in which the company has been a key partner for several years.
ESC BAZ CEO Assaf Machlev said: "We are very proud of the repeated choice of ESC BAZ and the trust placed in us to lead national projects of strategic importance. This win reflects our uncompromising commitment to excellence, technological innovation and the development of operational solutions tailored to customer needs. We will continue to invest in developing advanced capabilities and strengthening collaborations with our customers in Israel and around the world."
