Team8 has raised $365 million in new capital to invest in startups building the infrastructure behind the enterprise AI boom.

The round includes $265 million for Team8 Capital’s third fund, focused on Seed and Series A investments, plus more than $100 million for follow-on investments in existing portfolio companies. The raise brings Team8’s assets under management to nearly $2 billion across eight funds.

The timing is telling. Companies are moving rapidly from experimenting with AI to putting AI agents into production—but many are struggling to secure and manage them.

A Team8 survey of 111 security leaders found that 97% of organizations have started adopting AI agents, while 80% are already running them in production. Yet confidence in their ability to secure AI averaged just 2.32 out of five.

That gap is where Team8 sees its next wave of investments.

The new fund will target companies working across cybersecurity, software infrastructure, fintech and digital health, with particular interest in AI infrastructure, orchestration, identity, data and security.

“AI is fundamentally rewriting the economics of company building,” said Sarit Firon, Managing Partner at Team8. “Developing breakthrough technology has never been easier; building a company that endures has never been harder.”

Firon said Team8 is looking beyond the latest AI models, arguing that the more durable opportunities will come from companies solving enterprise problems that remain important even as the underlying technology changes.

The strategy has already produced an exit: Team8’s latest fund recorded its first before reaching its final close, following Palo Alto Networks’ reported acquisition of portfolio company Koi Security in February.

Team8 Co-Founder and Managing Partner Liran Grinberg said the firm is particularly interested in the infrastructure and security layers that enterprises will need as AI adoption accelerates.

“The biggest opportunities sit in the software infrastructure and cybersecurity layers that let enterprises adopt this technology with confidence,” Grinberg said.

The firm says startups in the new portfolio will also get access to Team8’s network of enterprise executives and its in-house teams covering areas including product, go-to-market and recruiting.

With AI adoption accelerating across large organizations, Team8 is betting that the next generation of enterprise winners will be built not simply around AI capabilities, but around the infrastructure required to make those capabilities usable, secure and commercially viable.
