Israeli cybersecurity startup OLIGO Security has raised $60 million, bringing its total funding to $140 million, as demand grows for technologies designed to stop attacks before they can compromise production systems.

The funding follows a breakout year for the company. OLIGO says its annual recurring revenue (ARR) has surged by more than 300% year over year, while its valuation has more than doubled since its previous funding round. Investors in the round include Ballistic Ventures, Canon Capital, Greenfield Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Red Dot Capital, TLV Partners and angel investor Eyal Waldman, co-founder of Mellanox.

The company's momentum reflects a growing shift in cybersecurity as AI transforms the threat landscape. Instead of simply helping attackers write phishing emails or malware, AI is dramatically accelerating how quickly they can discover software vulnerabilities and develop working exploits.

OLIGO's answer is runtime security – monitoring applications while they are running to determine which vulnerabilities are actually under attack. Rather than overwhelming security teams with thousands of potential risks, the platform identifies real exploitation attempts and blocks them without disrupting live production systems.

"AI has fundamentally changed the economics of exploitation," said co-founder and CEO Nadav Czerninski. "When attackers can find vulnerabilities at machine speed, runtime becomes the only place where organizations can understand real risk and stop attacks in real time."

The company recently expanded its footprint by becoming AWS's exclusive AI runtime security partner for AWS Security Hub Extended, joining Palantir's FedStart program for U.S. government certifications, and launching Runtime Exploit Blocking, a capability designed to stop application-layer attacks as they happen.
