Classiq and QAI Launch Korea’s First Quantum-as-a-Service Platform
From Italy to Singapore to Korea, Classiq is building a global footprint in the race to bring quantum computing into commercial reality

Israeli-founded quantum software company Classiq has partnered with Korean quantum-AI infrastructure firm QAI Co., Ltd. to launch what the companies describe as South Korea’s first Quantum-as-a-Service (QaaS) platform.
The service combines Classiq’s enterprise quantum software engineering platform with QAI’s domestic AI data center infrastructure, enabling enterprises, public institutions and researchers to develop and run quantum applications without direct access to quantum hardware.
The companies said the platform will support the full quantum development lifecycle — from modeling and testing to execution across different hardware environments — while also addressing local requirements around data security and sovereignty.
“Quantum computing will not flourish through hardware access alone,” said Classiq CEO and co-founder Nir Minerbi. “The ability to design, test and scale applications in a practical way is what drives real progress and innovation.”
Under the agreement, QAI will operate the service locally under its own brand, managing customer acquisition and operations, while Classiq provides its software platform and technical support.
“This partnership combines a global quantum software platform with our infrastructure and commercialization capabilities,” said QAI CEO Seman Im. “It allows Korean institutions to more realistically evaluate and apply quantum computing in business environments.”
The launch adds to Classiq’s recent international expansion push, following new initiatives in Italy and Singapore, as the company scales its global footprint through partnerships with infrastructure providers.
