U.S. Defense Consulting Firm CCG Expands to Israel, Names Eli Habshush Partner and CEO of CCG Defense Israel
Expansion establishes permanent Israeli presence to accelerate defense partnerships, market access, and industrial collaboration. In collaboration with Cherrill Consulting Group
Cherrill Consulting Group (CCG), a leading U.S. defense consulting and representation firm, today announced the expansion of its international operations with the establishment of CCG Defense Ltd. (Israel). The new Israeli entity led by Eli Habshush, who joins as Partner and CEO, will support business development, market expansion, and strategic partnerships between U.S. and Israeli defense companies.
Lt. Colonel (IDF Ret.) Eli Habshush brings more than two decades of experience advancing U.S. and Israel defense partnerships, combining military leadership with extensive business development experience across Israel’s defense sector. He has represented leading U.S. defense companies, including Raytheon Technologies land warfare, GM Defense, Tecmotiv, and L3 ESSCO, supporting strategic technology collaborations, complex programs, and contract negotiations with the Israeli defense establishment. His expertise includes identifying emerging market opportunities, aligning advanced defense capabilities with operational requirements, and building long-term partnerships across the global defense ecosystem.
The expansion comes as both nations place increased emphasis on strengthening defense industrial capacity, supply chain resilience, and accelerating the transition of advanced technologies into operational capabilities. CCG Defense will provide strategic advisory, business development, and market-entry support for companies seeking to establish or expand defense partnerships between Israel and the United States.
“CCG’s decision to establish a permanent presence in Israel comes at a critical time,” said Eli Habshush, Partner and CEO of CCG Defense Israel. “In light of the lessons from Operation ‘Lion’s Roar,’ evolving defense requirements, and the growing need to expand manufacturing capacity and industrial resilience, our mission is to build long-term partnerships that benefit both Israeli and U.S. defense industries. By combining CCG’s extensive U.S. defense network with Israel’s innovation ecosystem, we can create new opportunities for collaboration, development, and production.”
CCG has built a strong reputation supporting defense industry collaboration between Israel and the United States, with specialized expertise in tactical missile systems, missile defense, and precision technologies. The company supports defense organizations navigating complex market-entry strategies, partnerships, and program opportunities across both countries.
CCG Founder and President Adam Cherrill brings more than three decades of defense industry experience, including senior leadership roles at ATK Armament Systems, now part of Northrop Grumman’s Defense Sector, and Raytheon Missile Systems. At Raytheon, Cherrill founded and led the David’s Sling partnership with Rafael Advanced Defense Systems under the joint leadership of U.S. and Israeli missile defense organizations.
“Israel has always been a global hub for defense innovation and advanced technologies,” said Adam Cherrill. “For years, CCG has helped connect Israeli industry with opportunities in the U.S. defense market, supporting partnerships that bring proven capabilities to critical defense programs.”
“Establishing CCG Defense Israel is the natural next step. Our permanent presence in Tel Aviv, combined with Eli’s extensive experience and relationships, creates a platform to deepen collaboration and bring together Israel’s operational innovation with the scale and resources of the U.S. defense ecosystem.”
