MCTECH to Deploy Counter-Drone Systems Across Maccabiah Games
The Israeli company will provide RF-based drone detection and situational awareness capabilities to help secure venues, athletes, spectators and officials throughout the international sporting event

Israeli company MCTECH RF Technologies, a developer and manufacturer of Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) and electronic warfare solutions, will deploy its advanced counter-drone systems throughout the Maccabiah Games to provide an additional layer of security against unauthorized drone activity and help ensure the safety of athletes, delegations, spectators and event personnel.
Under the project, MCTECH will deploy its MC-Horizon D360s V5 system, a next-generation solution designed for real-time drone detection, identification, tracking and situational awareness. The system utilizes advanced passive wideband RF sensors to continuously monitor the electromagnetic spectrum and detect a broad range of commercial and custom-built unmanned aerial systems. It can locate both the drone and its operator while providing immediate alerts to security personnel.
All deployed systems will be connected to a centralized Command and Control (C2) platform, enabling operators to monitor multiple venues simultaneously, maintain a unified operational picture, analyze incidents in real time and support rapid decision-making throughout the event.
The MC-Horizon D360s V5 is designed to protect large public gatherings, critical infrastructure, airports, government facilities, military bases and other sensitive sites. Its modular architecture allows flexible deployment configurations tailored to the operational environment and threat level.
