Smart Shooter Secures Follow-On U.S. Marine Corps Contract Worth Up to $5.8 Million
New award for SMASH fire-control systems strengthens the company's growing presence across U.S. military branches amid rising demand for counter-drone capabilities

Smart Shooter, an Israeli designer, developer, and manufacturer of innovative fire-control systems, announced that it has received a follow-on contract from the U.S. Marine Corps for its soldier-portable SMASH 2000LE (also known as the SMASH 3000SA) fire-control systems. The $3.4 million contract includes options for additional systems, spare parts, and training valued at approximately $2.4 million, bringing the potential total contract value to approximately $5.8 million. Delivery of the products and services is expected to be completed almost entirely during the fourth quarter of 2026.
According to Smart Shooter, the agreement represents another significant contract in the United States and marks a further step in the company's expansion across U.S. defense organizations. Over the past year, Smart Shooter has signed multiple contracts with U.S. defense organizations, including the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, and U.S. Navy. These successive awards reflect growing operational demand among U.S. military branches for the company's solutions in response to the expanding drone threat.
In March 2026, Smart Shooter secured a contract with the U.S. Joint Interagency Task Force JIATF-401 valued at approximately $2.4 million. In May 2026, the company announced a U.S. Army contract worth approximately $10.7 million, and in early June 2026, Smart Shooter won its first contract with the U.S. Navy, valued at approximately $1.8 million.
Michal Mor, CEO of Smart Shooter, said the follow-on contract with the U.S. Marine Corps marks another important milestone in the company's continued growth within the U.S. defense market.
