Plasan Acquires CarmChrome as Part of Expansion Strategy

Israeli defense company Plasan, which specializes in the development and production of protection solutions for land, air, and naval vehicles in the defense market, announces the acquisition of CarmChrome and its integration into the Plasan Group.

According to the company, the move is part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen the Plasan Group’s activities and further establish its position as a global leader in protection, survivability, and systems-based solutions. The two companies have maintained a long-standing professional relationship, and the acquisition is based on natural, complementary synergies: Plasan brings advanced technologies and system-level capabilities, while CarmChrome specializes in metal processing and advanced manufacturing methods.

During 2025, Plasan also completed the acquisition of Mobius Protection Systems, which specializes in the development and production of compact, highly efficient energy-absorption systems for armored combat vehicles. The deal combined Plasan’s ballistic protection expertise with Mobius’s energy-absorption technologies, enabling a more holistic and integrated solution for maximum crew protection on the modern battlefield.
