Prime Security, developer of the Agentic Security Architect, announced $20 million in Series A funding. The round was led by Scale Venture Partners, with participation from Foundation Capital, Flybridge Ventures, and Ofir Ehrlich, CEO and Founder of Eon. The new investment will support the company’s go-to-market expansion and further development of its AI-driven Product Security Platform.

The platform uses autonomous AI agents to continuously monitor, assess, and guide security across the entire software development lifecycle. By integrating security into the design phase, Prime aims to reduce the reliance on manual review, which can cover only a small fraction of planned work before release.

“Integrating security into the design phase has always been a technically challenging manual process. Prime's approach transforms this stage,” said Ariel Tseitlin, Partner at Scale Venture Partners.

Prime’s Agentic Security Architect conducts security design reviews, identifies potential flaws, and integrates directly into engineering workflows. According to the company, this approach can accelerate reviews, reduce manual effort and costs by more than 60%, and provide nearly full coverage across development tasks.

The company has already secured clients including PayPal, Qualtrics, Bumble, ThoughtSpot, and Redis Labs, reporting faster resolution of design-stage risks, complete security assessment of planned work, and significant reductions in time and cost spent on reviews.

“At PayPal, security must evolve as fast as the threat landscape,” said Shaun Khalfan, CISO at PayPal. “Prime Security’s autonomous, design-stage reviews give us continuous visibility across engineering, enabling us to identify and address risks earlier in development.”

Founded in 2023 and headquartered in New York with offices in Tel Aviv, Prime Security integrates with leading engineering tools to provide comprehensive, automated security coverage without slowing development. The company is SOC2 Type II certified.
