Exodigo Raises $96 Million Series B to Expand AI-Powered Underground Mapping
Underground data intelligence platform enters next growth phase amid rising demand across infrastructure sectors
Exodigo, a developer of AI-based underground mapping solutions, has raised $96 million in a Series B funding round co-led by Zeev Ventures and Greenfield Partners. The oversubscribed round brings the company's total funding to $214 million since its 2021 launch.
The company’s platform combines multiple sensing technologies with artificial intelligence to produce 3D maps of underground infrastructure—such as pipes, cables, and utilities—without excavation. The system is used by over 50 organizations worldwide, including Amtrak, the California High-Speed Rail Authority, and National Grid, to reduce risks and delays in large infrastructure projects.
The latest funding round saw continued participation from early investors 10D VC, Square Peg, and JIBE, with new backing from Vintage Investment Partners and Leblon Capital.
According to Exodigo, its technology has been deployed in 18 U.S. states, helping map subsurface assets and de-risk over $75 billion in public infrastructure investments. The company recently expanded its U.S. field operations, enabling broader coverage in major cities such as New York, Los Angeles, and Miami.
“This round reflects a strong vote of confidence from the market,” said Jeremy Suard, CEO and co-founder of Exodigo. “We’ve demonstrated the ability to deliver accurate underground mapping at scale, reducing the uncertainty and inefficiency that typically surround infrastructure development.”
Exodigo plans to use the new capital to accelerate R&D efforts and expand its global presence. Key development areas include a geotechnical risk reduction solution, which aims to improve understanding of subsurface soil, rock, and groundwater conditions, and reduce the need for invasive testing during project planning.
The company’s approach integrates sensor fusion and cloud-based AI analysis to support more informed engineering decisions. Its clients span the transportation, utility, and construction sectors.
Headquartered in Palo Alto and Tel Aviv, Exodigo has received recognition from TIME, Fast Company, and CB Insights for its innovation in infrastructure technology.
