India’s Nibe Receives Israeli Defense Order for Rocket Launcher Components

The Indian company will supply components for rocket launchers with a range of up to 300 km by November 2027 – a significant order that expands the company’s international reach

Nibe Limited, an Indian company operating in the fields of manufacturing and defense, has received a significant international order from an Israeli client — according to a report by DSIJ dated May 24, 2025.

The order, valued at approximately ₹150.62 crore (around 68 million shekels), was placed by an Israeli defense company. It is for the development and production of components for rocket launchers with an operational range of up to 300 kilometers. Delivery is expected by November 2027.

Founded in 2005, Nibe operates in three main sectors: defense, electric transportation, and software development. In the defense sector, it specializes in processing and manufacturing portable weapon launchers and marine components. Additionally, the company is active in the electric mobility sector, assembling electric bicycles and rickshaws, along with advanced battery technologies.

Recently, the company expanded its manufacturing facility in Pune and integrated advanced industrial equipment to improve productivity and future quarterly results. The company’s revenue sources are divided as follows: 47% from industrial products, 25% from tradable goods, and 28% from services — with 94% of sales occurring in the domestic market.

Strategic partnerships with companies such as Hewlett Packard Enterprise India and Munition India Ltd. have contributed to the company’s growth. Its market capitalization stands at ₹2,212 crore. Among the prominent public shareholders is Satendra Pal Singh Chhabra, who holds a 1.36% stake.
