Salt Security and Wiz Expand Partnership to Strengthen API and Cloud Security

Salt Security has announced an expanded partnership and integration with Wiz, a provider of cloud security solutions. The integration is designed to help organizations identify and manage API security posture gaps and risks within their existing cloud security infrastructure.

As cloud environments continue to grow in complexity, many organizations rely on API gateways that introduce unique security challenges. Traditional tools often lack the ability to assess API posture or analyze traffic patterns needed to identify threats. Salt Security’s platform addresses these challenges by offering API discovery, runtime protection through behavioral analysis, and governance capabilities.

Through the integration, Salt’s API insights are incorporated into Wiz’s Security Graph. This allows security teams to view API posture issues alongside other cloud security risks, making it easier to identify potential attack paths and understand how API vulnerabilities connect to broader cloud infrastructure exposures. The collaboration supports more efficient incident response and remediation workflows by aligning posture assessments and runtime events with affected resources.
