Sparks Innovation Summit 2025, a Global Gathering of Creativity and Technology, Returns to Tel Aviv
Join entrepreneurs, tech leaders, and investors from around the world to explore groundbreaking innovations, the future of Israel's tech landscape, and more
The Tel Aviv Sparks Innovation Summit (formerly DLD), a celebration of creativity, ingenuity, and technology coming together, returns to one of the world’s leading tech hubs. The event will take place from March 26-28 at Expo Tel Aviv, Habima National Theater, and various other locations across the city.
This annual event is the brainchild of Yossi Vardi, an entrepreneur and investor known as the “father of the Startup Nation,” who also serves as the summit’s chairperson, and Amir Rapaport, founder of the Cybertech Global conferences. It is part of the city of Tel Aviv's Tech Week, in collaboration with the municipality.
This year, Sparks will explore a variety of topics related to changes Israel has undergone since October 7, with a focus on technological innovation. Throughout the event, dozens of groundbreaking startups will be showcased, alongside participants and visitors from around the world, including many international delegations, senior figures from the high-tech industry, global investors, thought leaders, and young entrepreneurs.
Among the speakers will be Mirek Dušek, Managing Director of the World Economic Forum; David Tennenhouse, former senior executive at companies such as Amazon, Microsoft, Intel, and more; Dr. Shlomit Wagman, CEO of Global Regulation and Compliance at Rapyd; Dror Bin, CEO of the Israel Innovation Authority; and Prof. Hanan Melcer, former Deputy President of the Supreme Court, among others. Panel moderators will include journalist Yaron London; Jennifer Schenker, editor of The Innovator; Dr. Ami Appelbaum, former Chief Scientist of the Israeli Ministry of Economy; and more.
Given this complex period in Israel, this is the second year that a special panel will be held to promote and support innovation in the Western Negev. During the panel, entrepreneurs from Gaza-adjacent communities will meet with top member of the Israeli high-tech community to discussing challenges, business activities, future investments in the sector, the promotion of peripheral regions, and more.
Additionally, Sparks will feature a unique session in which promising startup companies from the defense sector will present their solutions, aimed at shaping and improving Israel’s future. Other panels will discuss topics such as Israel's role in AI chip manufacturing, robotics and AI integration, the future of fundraising (with representatives from prominent funds in France, Spain, and Israel), and additional important issues.
During the Sparks Innovation Summit, over 15 open meetup sessions will be held for the general public, as part of its Urban Happening. On the final day of the event (Friday, March 28), the successful “Uncoference” will take place, bringing together leading figures from high-tech and politics, alongside the general public, who will also have the opportunity to take an active role as speakers.
Why Unconference? Because of its simplicity: anyone interested can present and lecture on the topic of their choice. All they need to do is write the topic on a whiteboard outside the room, and depending on the subject, attendees will decide whether to join. The event will take place in Tel Aviv from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, with the location to be provided closer to the event.
