Pini Yungman Appointed President and Deputy CEO of TSG Group
Former Rafael and IAF leader to drive strategic partnerships and technological advancements
Brigadier General (Res.) Pini Yungman has been appointed President and Deputy CEO of the TSG Group, a leading provider of advanced software and technology solutions for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), other defense agencies worldwide, and the civilian sector. In his new role, Yungman will oversee strategic partnerships in local and international markets, focusing on air defense solutions, intelligence, and command and control systems. He will also lead the planning and development of next-generation technologies to address evolving security challenges.
Yungman is a key figure in Israel's defense sector, recognized for his pivotal contributions to the country’s air defense and missile systems. Over a 28-year career in the Israeli Air Force (IAF), he held various command and staff positions, playing a crucial role in strengthening Israel’s defense capabilities. Following his military service, he joined Rafael, where he served as Senior Vice President and established the Air Defense Systems Division.
Under his leadership, Rafael developed and supplied critical defense systems, including Iron Dome, David’s Sling, Spider, air-to-air missiles, and advanced command and control platforms. His exceptional contributions to Israel’s security earned him the honor of lighting a torch at the country’s Independence Day ceremony.
Beyond development, Yungman has been instrumental in fostering international business and technological collaborations. He led key partnerships, including a collaboration with Raytheon, and spearheaded mergers, acquisitions, and major transactions valued at tens of billions of shekels.
